Reinsurance
Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in choosing the best reinsurance
carrier for your specific and aggregate stop loss coverage. Criteria used
in selecting a carrier that best fits your needs are financial strength,
competitive premium rates, contract language, and accuracy and timeliness
of claim payments. CMRG is an approved broker/TPA with some of the nation's
top insurance companies including HCC Life, Pacific Life, AIG Life,
and GE Financial. In an effort to remove all friction costs, our proposals
are presented with no commissions, which reinforces our philosophy of industry-driven,
cost saving factors. The self-insured concept for medium-sized companies, as
we know it today, has begun to deteriorate because of the high cost of reinsurance.
Much of this is due to the fact that reinsurance and MGUs are seeking to obtain
higher profit margins since they are not getting the return on investments to which
they have become accustomed. CMRG and the Industry Buying Group are already moving
in the direction of setting up risk retention groups within the organization. Our
objective is to eliminate premium taxes, mandated benefits, and profit margins
that are normally associated with the insurance industry.
Managed Care: The Patient First Network
Managed care, as we know it, will not be the managed care of tomorrow.
The model of the future will not be owned or controlled by insurance
companies or hospitals, but instead will be driven by industry.
This product is the Patient First Network (P1N). With
more than 21,000 physicians, 136 hospitals, and 1,100 ancillary facilities
in 157 of 159 counties, P1N is the largest provider network presently
available throughout the state of Georgia and is positioned to provide the patient with freedom of choice.
P1N Rx
CMRG, has developed the low-load P1N Rx drug program. With the objective of representing industry
and better managing the increasing cost of prescription drugs, CMRG focused
on developing a private label prescription drug card program that mirrors
the same strategies we have in the PPO network. By developing this product,
we are positioned to offer employers a direct connection to a major prescription
clearinghouse and more control over negotiated volume discounts for transaction
fees, dispensing fees, and rebates for a fraction of the cost. This direct connection
allows employers access to some of the most aggressive fees in the industry.
COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985)
Our COBRA personnel will help you stay in compliance on all COBRA laws and
regulations. Because COBRA laws are constantly changing, many employers
are unable to keep up with the regulations and choose instead to outsource.
CMRG can provide full COBRA administration.
